Mark Zuckerberg, who is 27 years of age and the CEO of the company, is the top stakeholder as the company prepares to go public with almost 533.8 million shares. According to a regulatory filing which was filed yesterday, shares that will go public will be around 28.4 percent of the total shares of the company.

The social networking site also said in a prospectus that it aims to generate $5 billion in the initial public offering. Last week, Menlo Park, a company based in California, was discussing the valuation of the firm to be around $75 billion to $100 billion. At the top of the estimated range, Mark Zuckerberg, the man behind the creation of Facebook, will own $28.4 billion worth of stock. Mark Zuckerberg is not only going to hold majority of the stock since he has the most amount of voting power in the company as well. Reports revealed that Zuckerberg has hold of 56.9 percent of the total voting power in Facebook.

Altimeter Group’s analyst Rebecca Lieb said that Zuckerberg is maintaining a lot of control. Adding further, she said that the man has shown a lot of maturity and wisdom in bringing Facebook up to the level of profitability and stability it is today before it went public. In contrast, Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google are worth $15 billion if the comparison is made on the shares they hold in the company.

Apart from the valuation, Facebook will also be required to convince its advertisers that they can generate more money on the website through billions of people who connect with each other on the platform. Even though the research does not talk about the commercial activities of people, it does emphasize on how important it is to use the social networking website and what people get out of it.

The new study is a byproduct of the study conducted by the same firm in November 2010 that comprised of data which the social networking site rendered to Pew after nearly 270 people gave it the permission to. The researchers revealed that 20 percent to 30 percent of the users are power users but other than that, mostly people are talking about photos, or others sent lots of friend requests. In every activity which Pew logged in, there were 5 power users.

Moreover, Facebook is only about positivity because there is no “dislike” button on the site and according to Keith Hampton, the main author of the study, people get wonderful positive rewards which is actually pretty hard to give up. The grim outlook of Panasonic comes few days after Sony Corp, its rival, posted its results. Later on Friday, the Labor Department of United States will release the employment figures of the economy attained in January. The United States economy created 200,000 jobs in the last month of 2011 while the unemployment rate was 8.5 percent. According to economists’ expectations, nearly 140,000 jobs were added in the economy last month.

According to the Labor Department, who revealed on Thursday, the four week average of unemployment benefit claims dropped to 375,750, which is its lowest level since June 2008 and also ample to suggest that the job market of the country is improving steadily.

From last week, oil prices rested at more than $100 per barrel but rising concerns amid investors about United States crude inventories have reflected dropping demand. According to Capital Economics, Brent crude price will drop to $100 by the time this quarter ends and will fall to $75 by the time next year ends.

During other energy trading, heating oil remained steady at a value of $3.05 a gallon while futures of gasoline increased by 0.4 cents to settle at a value of $2.87 a gallon. On the other hand, natural gas dropped by 2.3 cents to settle at a value of $2.53 per 1000 cubic feet.

In a statement, a London based analyst working at Mediobanca, Christopher Wheeler said that the Deutsche Bank is the sovereign debt market for the single currency zone. Adding further, he said that the bank leads that market. Today, Unilever, AstraZeneca and Deutsche Bank headed a gush of awful earnings. On the other hand, a decline of nearly 30 percent was noted in the trading revenue from fixed income, currency and commodities during the fourth quarter. While benchmark oil remained hardly unchanged, valuing at $96 a barrel, the dollar appreciated against the euro as well as the yen.

The United States government will be releasing the jobs’ report later on Friday. The report will also shed light on the unemployment rate in the economy and the amount of jobs created in January. In December, two months back from now, the United States economy added a total of 200,000 jobs, whereas the rate of unemployment was 8.5 percent.

According to some analysts, strong results will not be posted by the United States economy. Analysts are basing their expectations on a report that was published by ADP, a private payroll agency. The report revealed that employment in the private sector of the economy increased by 170,000 in the first month of the year compared to December and the jobs were less than they were expected to be.

On Monday, stock markets will react to the report of the United States jobs’ market as the results will be unveiled shortly.

According to AFP the French based mapping company Bottin Cartographes that offers similar services like Google Maps, but for a fee filed the suit that claimed that search engine giant was “abusing” its strong position by offering the service free of cost.

AFP reported that the strategy of Google is apparently to cut competitions by “temporarily swallowing the full cost until it gains control of the market.”

A commercial court in Paris agreed with the French mapping company to pay the damages as well as fine of $19,700.

Jean-David Scemmama, the lawyer of Bottin Cartographes told AFP, “We proved the illegality of (Google’s) strategy to remove its competitors. The court recognized the unfair and abusive character of the methods used and allocated Bottin Cartographes all it claimed.”

The search engine giant plans to appeal against court’s decision.

A Google France spokeman told AFP, “We remain convinced that a free high-quality mapping tool is beneficial for both internet users and websites. There remains competition in this sector for us, both in France and internationally.”

Google announce that the Google Docs service was updated to a version that improves the user experience on tablets and on devices with bigger screens. We are talking about the Google Docs application for Android, which offers both offline access to the content you need as well as a better experience on tablets.

At the Mobile World Congress event, HTC will present the thinnest Android smartphone on the market. We are talking about the HTV Ville smartphone.

A video was released on YouTube that presents the first spy photos of the 8 mm phone.

According to some sources, the smartphone will ship with a 4,3 inch qHD Super AMOLED screen, a 1.5 GHZ dual core Snapdragon S4 processor, two photo / video cameras: a VGA camera and another camera on the back with a 8 MP sensor.

The HTC Ville smartphone can browse the internet with the help of a wireless connection and HSPA+ and will have a 1,650 mAh battery.

File Vault from Apple was created as a encryption method of the contents on the hard drive ever since Mac OS X Panther a few years ago.

Kieron Skott Woodhouse, a 4 year design student at Middlesex University in London created a design for a bamboo phone.

After the respective design was completed, the 23 years old student was contacted by a company to manufacture the smartphone that was only a project until that time.

The smartphone was named ADzero and it is integrated into a unibody case made out of bamboo. Created as a ecologic product, the smartphone does not neglect technology. Firstly, the camera on the back is surrounded by a circular flash, an innovative idea that has every changes of increasing the quality of the photos in semi-dark situations.

Although it is mostly dedicated for those who are design sensitive, the smartphone will be available in China and England in just a few months.

According to one of her friends, Moore is more obsessed with being thin and young than anyone else in Hollywood. The source says that lately, Moore has been having a Red Bull for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She’ll also include a leaf of lettuce and a small spot of tuna.

Some people have said that Moore’s focus on looking young is almost insane. They say that she talks about nothing else than finding a way to stay beautiful and young. It was assumed that her obsessions were her attempt to keep Ashton Kutcher interested. When he went off and cheated on her, her friends say that her world went out of control. Apparently Kutcher has called regularly to see how Moore is doing since she collapsed and was hospitalized last week. However, it appears that Bruce Willis, Moore’s ex-husband, is a bit more concerned that Kutcher is. He’s reportedly been worried about Moore for some time now and according to friends, he’s stepped up to help her in the last week.

According to the 911 tape that was released after Moore’s collapse last week, it’s possible that Moore had smoked “something that was not marijuana.” The caller said that Moore was having convulsions after smoking something like incense. There has been a lot of criticism over the release of the 911 tape and now there is a bill that is to be introduced that will make 911 calls the same as medical records.

There are more arrests pending, according to the statement by the OPP. Some of the men who were arrested were not charged with participation in the child pornography ring, but were charged with related offenses from their own independent actions. There are more arrests pending and the OPP expects those arrests to be completed in the next few days.

One of the men arrested was an employee of a day care. Three others were teenagers. Twenty two victims have been identified. Weapons and drugs were also seized during the search warrant executions and the arrests. The oldest man arrested was 69 and the teenagers were sixteen. The police have released the names of everyone that was arrested, except for the teenagers, who were from Sault Ste. Marie, Niagara Falls, and Chatham.

A spokesman for the OPP said that police investigators were able to identify almost 9,000 IP addresses in Ontario where the downloading of child porn took place in the last three months. Ontario police report that investigators have worked on over 16,000 cases of child sexual exploitation since 2006. Those cases have resulted in the arrests of almost 1,900 people with almost 6,000 charges.

This is one of the largest busts for child pornography by a single agency in the world. There were two such similar investigations last year. The first was in the United States and resulted in the arrests of 72 people around the world. In March, Europol arrests more than 180 people around the world and rescued 230 victims of abuse.

There are already lawyers involved. For example, an attorney who represents the interests of the British government, said that he doesn’t believe the ship was carrying the platinum bars as Brooks claims. Brooks says that the wreck he located is a ship that hit by German torpedoes during World War II. The wreck is located about fifty miles off the northeast coast of the United States near Cape Cod. Some of the video that Brooks has shows a platinum bar on the ship. There are about three dozen boxes that surround the bar. Brooks says he thinks those boxes will reveal four or five platinum ingots in each box.

“Late Night” would premiere in 1982 and Bill Murray was the first guest to appear. Ten years later, Johnny Carson would leave “The Tonight Show” and instead of choosing Letterman to replace the iconic host, the network chose Jay Leno. Letterman would leave to go to CBS and his show was renamed the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

The first revolves around Adam’s father, Ethan. Almost always inebriated, Ethan is becoming a huge part of the ultimate endgame that Dawn is planning. Dawn is trying to bring Ethan into to use as a pawn and possibly to cause a distraction for Charles.

The next interesting moment will be the increase of tension between Dawn and Charles. It’s really hard to figure out what Dawn is doing and it brings another element to Charles’ character. There aren’t many people who are aware of this tension, which seems to make it even worse.

Of course, the next moment could be the fall of Dawn. She seems to think that no one can really keep up with her. However, someone – possibly Charles – will bring her down. Charles will likely take Dawn out very quietly and with very little aggression. However, that’s just speculation at this point.

If Charles were to lose it, though, that could bring a whole new storyline to the show. Perhaps Nick’s death will be addressed again. Charles has already gone through all the panic and the guilt over it. If Nick were to show up again, it could send Charles right over the edge.

John Blackwell is returning, too. That is Cassie’s father and he’s not very welcome. Charles could find the whole situation changing if John ends up siding with Dawn and he certainly cannot just stand by and watch that happen.

So, there you have it. Five moments that could happen on the show to push it into the next level. Wonder which ones will actually make to the screen?

Dundee was hospitalized for a short time last week for a blood clot. According to his son, Jimmy Dundee, the 90 year old boxing legend was doing fine yesterday and then started having difficulty breathing. He passed away a short while later with his family at his side.

Dundee learned his craft at Stillman Gym in New York City. He eventually opened the Fifth Street Gym in Miami, Florida and lived his last few years in Tampa. However, Dundee grew up in Philadelphia, which was a hotbed for boxing. Dundee once told a reporter that Philadelphia was not a town – it was jungle. He said that there aren’t any sparring sessions in Philadelphia either. There are wars.

While Dundee boxed as a young adult, he realized that his true calling was as a cornerman than a boxer. He moved to New York City and trained under some of the best cornermen and trainers in the sport, such as Charlie Goldman, Chickie Ferrera, and Ray Arcel.

During World War II, he was in the Army Air Corps, but when the war was over, he would travel to Miami, Florida with his brothers. He opened the Fifth Street Gym and started training many Hispanic fighters. The first champion that Dundee would train was Carmen Basilio. He would win the middleweight and the welterweight crowns. Eventually, he would meet Cassius Clay after Clay won an Olympic gold medal in 1960. By November of that year, the two were working at the Fifth Street Gym in Miami.

Just last month, Dundee travelled to see Ali on his 70th birthday. The two remained friends throughout Dundee’s life. Ali said that Dundee stuck beside him through all the controversy that the years would bring. Ali said that Dundee was so good for boxing and that he will be missed.

Hollande was on a campaign stop, giving a speech at La Porte de Versailles. He was speaking about housing when a woman threw the contents of a bag of flour at him. He was covered in the flour, but he was calm as his bodyguards restrained the woman. She was carried off by the bodyguards by her hands and feet. She was later identified as Claire Seguin. The 45 year old was from Lille and was shouting that she was being “assassinated by Socialists” and had been denied justice.

Joly received the bullet and the threatening letters in the mail last month, according to Stephane Sitbon-Gomez, Joly’s campaign manager. Gomez said that there are many similar letters with the senders stating their extremist views. Joly has received numerous death threats in the past when she was an investigative judge. Gomez said that it was one of the hazards of campaigning.

The first round of elections is set for April 22. The results of three polls this week have Hollande leading over the current French President, Nicolas Sarkozy – 31% to 23.5%. The National Front candidate, Marine Le Pen, is in third place, with 20%. Fourth and fifth place are Francois Bayrou and Jean-Luc Melenchon, respectively.

The Socialist party and the Green party have struck a pact that will give the Greens more seats in the French parliament for their support of Francois Hollande in the second round of the elections. The Socialists have agreed to shut down almost half of the nuclear power plants in France by 2025. Sarkozy has accused the Socialists of only using the closure of the power plants to gain an advantage in the elections.

The dead include Abdullah Ali from Singapore, Zulkifli bin Hir from Malaysia, and Umbra Jumdail, from the Philippines. Abdullah Ali is known by Muawiyah. Umbra Jumdail is the leader of the Abu Sayyaf. Zulkifli bin Hir is also known as Marwan and is the leader of Jemaah Islamiyah. There was a bounty of $5 million for Marwan’s arrest or death and it was offered by the United States.

There has been hundreds of Abu Sayyaf members killed or captured by Philippine patrols since the 1990s. However, the deaths of these three men could finally become a turning point for the Philippine government. The ongoing war in the southern regions of the country has last for twenty years now. Terrorists groups have carried on their private war against the Philippine government, which is predominately Christian. The Philippine jungle has been used for organizing these attacks and training recruits. The Muslin rebel soldiers might be outmanned, but they are capable of quickly disappearing, which has made them very difficult to track down.

Since 2002, there have been more than 500 people killed on the islands of Tawi Tawi, Basilan, Iolo, and Mindanao. More than 2,000 have been injured. The attacks often come several days in a row, which makes people fearful of leaving their home or congregating in any public place. Authorities would finally believe that they have the rebel groups on the run and then suddenly there would be a new wave of attacks. Philippine officials are hopeful that the deaths of the above named men will have a significant impact on the groups’ ability to promote violence and bloodshed.

According to a spokesperson for the Maritime Safety Authority in Australia, there were about 350 people on board when the ship sank. Carly Lusk said that there have been a total of 238 people rescued that were found floating in the water.

The Australian Foreign Minister, Kevin Rudd, said that they are pleased that so many people were able to be rescued, but there is growing concern over those who are still missing. It’s a difficult rescue operation and Rudd said that rescuers are doing everything they can. The first plane to fly over the scene dropped several life rafts into the water.

There is no precise number of missing, and Rudd said that he doesn’t have any information as to the nationalities of the missing passengers. The ship was carrying passengers from Kimbe, which is on New Britain Island. It was headed to Lae, which is on the mainland of Papua New Guinea.

By the time some helicopters had arrived to start pulling passengers out of the water, the ship had already sunk. Sam Maiha, the chief of the National Weather Service, said that warnings had been issued to keep ships moored due to very strong winds. The ferry capsized in very rough seas and it took about four hours for it to completely sink.

The police in Kimbe said that most of the passengers on the Rabual Queen were students and teacher trainees. The tragedy is under investigation by the Maritime Safety Authority.

Russia and Iran are two of the most powerful allies that Syria has. There is mounting international pressure against Syria’s president, Bashar Assad, to stop the violence in the country against anti-government protestors. The Arab League has appealed to the United Nations Security Council to draft a resolution that will calls for Assad to step down as Syria’s leader. However, Russia has said that they will veto the resolution because it does not specifically rule out military intervention.

Russia will continue to support Syria because of what it sees as strategic and defense partnership. Last month, Russia signed a deal with Syria that is reportedly worth more $550 million for combat jets.

Yesterday, a Lebanese politician and pro-Syrian supporter, Wiam Wahab, met with Assad. Wahab spoke with Al-Akhbar, a Lebanese newspaper, and said that Assad is confident in Russia’s position. Wahab did say that Assad has vowed to end the uprising because he feels that the cost of chaos in Syria is worse that the “cost of decisiveness.”

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the massacre in Hama. The assault on the city ended in the deaths of thousands of people. The massacre happened when Assad’s father was president and has become somewhat of a battle cry for the current wave of anti-government protestors. The anniversary has been marked by a strike by many people in Hama; however, there are hundreds of security forces and troops stationed throughout Hama. Checkpoints are up all over the city and many are afraid to be outside of their homes today.

Activists have painted two of Hama’s streets to symbolize the blood that was shed 30 years ago. Red dye has also been put into the waters that run on the city’s ancient and famous water wheels. The protestors are waiting to hear what the Security Council’s decision will be on the resolution, but right now, Russia seems to be holding that all important veto power.
