RIM is bringing the new BlackBerry OS to the market with the help of several software developers. Today a specifications list was seen on the internet which reportedly belongs to a new touchscreen enabled phone running on BlackBerry 10 OS. The new specifications are sure to provide you some decent information on what to expect from RIM latest phone and OS.

The Spec sheet leaked today is infact belonging to the same phone but have three different variations. It is possible that each spec sheet is dedicated to a different region. Manufacturers often release the same phone with different specifications in different regions.

The specs in question are for the new BlackBerry London. The set has three variations, the UK edition is denoted by London, the U.S version is Laguna and the Canadian version is Lisbon. It is not confirmed if these names are official or codename for the new phone.

The specifications reveal a 4.2 inches touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution with a 355 DPI. The camera is revealed to be 8 megapixels with flash and auto focus features. Another camera is included on the phone’s front.

Other specifications include Wi-Fi connectivity, onboard GPS and NFC. One of the biggest concerns that arise after looking at the spec sheet is the absence of LTE. According to the spec sheet, the LTE is missing from the UK edition of the phone, but is available on the North American and Canadian variants.

It is possible that RIM is waiting for United Kingdom carriers to catch up with the United States before it risks having LTE on a phone. It is unclear what feature RIM will add instead of LTE for the UK variant. It is also possible that the price of the phone may be different because of absence of LTE connectivity.
