Skylanders is a name no one in the gaming community is unfamiliar with. The original game was launched last Christmas and there were many people who went berserk over the game. There were many reasons why the original Skylanders game became popular: it was addictive, had a nice gameplay accompanied by on spot graphics.

Skylanders was a big hit and that is the reason why the developers of the game decided to make a sequel game, named Skylanders Giants.

The Skylanders Giants has generated a lot of buzz and it will be launched this weekend. The game is set to hit the stores near you on October 21, which is Sunday.

Skylanders Giants will be released on different consoles including the PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360 console and Nintendo Wii. If you have any of the aforementioned consoles, you will be able to play the awaited title.

The new game and the successor to the original Skylanders, the Skylanders Giants features several changes including increased characters. The new game will feature sixteen new game characters, which includes eight Giant Skylanders, which are double the size of the usual characters in the game.

All characters differ from one another and the giant characters also differ from the normal characters in different ways: for instance, the giant Skylanders will have double the power than the normal sized characters.

The Skylanders Giants also features other changes over the original game such as new lighting powers and other features. In order to find out about these changes, make sure you get a copy of the awaited game.

Skylanders Giants is one of the most anticipated titles of this year. The game suits every age bracket well, including children, mid-aged and adults (such as me) and this has also helped it in becoming a household name in the gaming community.
