Blu Dash 3.5 has been debuted by Blu Products in the market today. The phone is available for under $100, which might be its unique selling point.
The new phone is an unlocked phone that comes in support of dual SIM cards. The phenomenon of dual SIM cards is not that common in the U.S and phones that actually do support two SIM cards are available for a hefty price.
However, the Blu Dash 3.5 offers dual SIM card support and is available for $99.99. The phone is available for purchase in the United States and Latin America.
The new phone will be available in the standard black and white colors and will come equipped with 4GB memory card. Other specifications of the phone include a 3.5 inch, decent looking capacitive touchscreen that boasts a resolution of 320 x 480.
Additionally the Blu Dash 3.5 smartphone also supports 3G HSDPA, EDGE and GSM quad band connectivity.
It also comes as no surprise that the new phone runs on Android but what users are mostly concerned about is what version of Android OS is the phone that they might potentially spend their money on, running on.
The Blu Dash 3.5 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and we don’t think it will be upgradable to ICS or further in the long run. The phone is targeted towards the lower end of the market. The Blu Dash 3.5 comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera and runs on Qualcomm 1GHz processor.
The phone also supports Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 3.0. In terms of looks, the phone is not very impressive but in terms of features and its price, it quite certainly is. The phone supports dual SIM cards, Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 3.0, which is all too impressive, given that the phone is unlocked and is available for $99.99 only.
