Sony Computer Entertainment’s PS Vita isn’t doing as good as anyone would have thought it to be. There are many reasons behind why the handheld console is still not too popular with the gamers. First of all, it is indeed a very cool gadget to have, but we believe Sony might be asking a bit too much for the console.

Within the same price limit you can buy a PlayStation 3 console with hundreds of great titles to play. But if you spend the same $200 on a Vita, you will be quite disappointed when you see the games list in the library.

Sony is trying hard to bring in more titles but what it’s missing is exclusive titles for the Vita. When I think of getting the Vita, I always hesitate because right now the number of original games available and coming on the Vita are just not enough. And what Sony is doing is simply adding support for classic titles from PS 1 and PS 2.

The exclusive title library of the handheld is growing but at a very gradual pace. Today a new title from a particular franchise that I love was announced. I am talking about a new title from Guilty Gear series. The new title named Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R was announced today and I’ll be honest it caught my interest.

I loved the original title and now the developers have confirmed that they are adding tons of new additions to the game. Additions like a new rebalanced fighter roster and an all new voice acting cast, this may be something that interest a lot of fighting game fans.

The game will be arriving in the U.S sometime in 2013. No specific details of the game are available as of yet but the announcement has made me excited. What about you?
