Samsung will be unveiling some new Slate devices soon and if you are a Samsung fan, you must take a look at some of the products that the Korean company will launch this fall.
All the new devices will run on Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system.
Samsung Series 5 All-In-One
Samsung released three brand new desktop models that it has adjusted under the Series 5/7 category. The Samsung 5 All In One series features a 10 point capacitive touchscreen, accompanied by a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. More so, they also feature Intel Ivy Bridge Processors, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and couple of other things.
Importantly, they run on Windows 8. All models under the Series 5 All In One category by Samsung will feature DVD-RW dual-layer DVD drive, wireless keyboard, remote control, mouse, couple of USB ports, 500 GB hard drive, 4GB DDR memory and some other fancy features.
Samsung Series 7 Slate
The Series 7 Slate by Samsung has been created for the “power users”. With an Intel Core i5 processor on board, other features of the tablet include 128 GB SSD card, 4GB of memory and it will run on Windows 8.
The Series 7 Slate comes equipped with the S Pen and has a full HD display screen. The weight of the tablet is 1.89 pounds. Other features of the tablet include support for Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Gbit Ehternet and a few others. The Series 7 Slate will be sold for a price of $1199 (yes it is expensive) but you will also get a keyboard dock with it so it will enhance your tablet using experience.
Samsung Series 5 Slate
This is another promising gadget by Samsung that features an 11.6 inch display screen on board. The Series 5 Slate comes equipped with the S Pen stylus and a complete keyboard (detachable).
The screen of the Series 5 Slate is vibrant as it boasts a resolution of 1366 x 766 pixels while the processor on board is Intel’s Clover Trail 2W processor.
The tablet weighs 1.65 pounds and comes equipped with 64 GB SSD, 2GB memory, support for Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless technology and Gbit Ethernet. The tablet will start selling for $749 if you get it with the keyboard and without the keyboard, it will cost you $649. The Series 5 Slate will run on Windows 8.
Samsung Series 7 All-In One
The Samsung Series 7 All In One are also one of Samsung’s latest creations. It will be available in two versions: 23.6’’ and a 27’’ version. Users will have the choice of either buying the Core i5 version or the Core i7 version.
The 23’’ version will cost you $1099 and it will come accompanied with 6GB worth of 1600 MHz DDR 3memory that you can upgrade to 8 GB. Other than that, there is also 1 TB hard drive on board. The other version of Samsung Series 7 All In One will cost you $1699. This version offers upgrades over the other version.
Both versions will run on Windows 8.
Samsung is betting on Windows 8 this time and launching several devices based solely on Windows 8 means the company has high expectations from Microsoft’s new operating system.
However, only time will tell as to how well these products will do in the market amongst high competition coming from other companies in the market.
