What a sad day for Bioware fans.

The two founders of the Bioware studios, Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka, announced that they are going to leave the company as they are interesting in pursuing other ventures.

Even so, BioWare is not going to fell apart and it will continue their tradition of creating new quality RPG games, and the company promised to continue the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises.

Greg Zeschuk said that he will take a break for some time in order to spend more time with his family and friends. He is very passionate about beer and he will create an online show named “The Beer Diaries” and he will interview many brewers from all over the world.

Ray Muzyka said that he might return to gaming at some point, however at the moment he will create a new IT company but in a different field than gaming.

One interesting thing about the two BioWare founds is that they are medical doctors by profession.

But what will happen with the BioWare studio ? Well, Electronic Arts revealed a few days ago the a new Dragon Age title naled Inquisition will continue the famous RPG franchise built on the Frostbite 2 graphics engine.

Also, Aaryn Flynn’s latest statements, the General Manager of Bioware, seem to announce a new Mass Effect game and Casey Hudson, the producer of the Mass Effect trilogy, is currently working on a new RPG game, with a story placed in a new universe.

In the mean time, the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG game will continue to get new expansion packs every few months.

Even if the BioWare founders will no longer be a part of the development team, the people who are still part of the company are the same people who created BioWare’s most famous games.

There is a chance that this change won’t affect BioWare’s next games in any way, games that will be released sometime next year.
