Apple has just sent out invitations dated for September 12 for an event that will possibly mark the announcement of the new iPhone.
The invitation shows a big “12” written in bold black and includes text that says “It’s almost here”. The shadow beneath “12” is of number “5”, which definitely means that Apple is going to announce the new phone on the respective date.
Apple’s big event will take place in San Francisco, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The event will start at 10:00 a.m Pacific time.
In the past, all rumors have suggested that the new phone will be announced on September 12 and will be launched on September 21.
Few hours ago, we all thought September 12 might be the day when Apple announces the new phone but now it is definite: the iPhone 5 will be revealed on the rumored date.
Apart from the new iPhone 5, Apple is also rumored to launch a brand new mini iPad and a next generation iPod. A few weeks ago, rumors suggested that Apple will launch the other two products in September but recently, we are hearing that Apple will unveil the new gadgets in October.
