The ever so popular Zombie mode of Call Of Duty series is making its way to Black Ops 2. Although no new official details of the mode are available, but those who are anticipating the release of the game and its zombie mode can now munch on some fresh information released by Amazon.com.
According to internet retail giant, the new Zombie mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will feature a campaingn-esque mode. That’s right, the game description on Amazon.com reads that the Zombie mode is included with both multiplayer and single player campaign options.
Zombie mode for Call of Duty series has seen huge success since it was introduced. Players have so far been playing the Zombie mode in only a multiplayer setting where various players survive waves of incoming zombies.
If this is true than we might see one of the best and most polished Zombie mode of all time. Imagine playing the Zombie mode in a story setting that includes your typical high destruction cut scenes. Who knows we might even see zombie characters.
This is proof enough that Treyarch is seriously pushing the game mode based on its success. The Zombie mode is so popular that Treyarch also released an application dedicated to it on Smartphones.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies was first released on iOS where it saw massive success. The developers than brought the application to Android but it was a timed exclusive for Sony Xperia Smartphones. The app was later made available for all supported Smartphones.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies allowed players to take on a swarm of zombies alone or with a couple of friends using the internet.
With the newest Zombie mode turning into a campaign, things will be taken to the next level and we might even see the developers adding more content based on the mode. For now, keep your fingers crossed until official information is available.
