Kojima Productions, best known for their work on the Metal Gear series is gearing up for the Metal Gear 25th anniversary event. The plans of the production company are still unknown, but speculation over the internet has been high over exciting new announcements.
According to KP Report Ken Mendoza, Metal Gear fans should prepare themselves for huge news coming to them directly from the studio. He confirmed that there are going to be several announcements during the event, one of which will completely blow people off.
In his own words, Mendoza says that the huge announcement that is just waiting to be made over the next few weeks will not only have fans astonished, but the entire video game industry will be shaken by the news.
Kojima Productions is likely going to show off their new Fox Engine, which has been hyped over the internet for quite some time now. According to Hideo Kojima, the producer behind Metal Gear series, the new engine is going to change how Metal Gear games work and how they are played.
Demonstrations of the engine have already been shown in the past but they still remain the alpha version of the engine. During the Metal Gear 25th anniversary event, we could see the final version of the engine running our favorite game, Metal Gear Solid.
Kojima Productions have confirmed in the past that the first game to utilize the engine will be Pro Evolution Soccer. No further news on what other games will be made using the engine have been announced.
But we already know that Kojima Productions will use the Fox Engine to power their unannounced Metal Gear Solid 5 game. If the news is indeed so big, then we can expect announcements regarding the next Metal Gear game on powered by the new engine.
