At the end of last month Microsoft released the new Outlook.com email client which comes to replace the old and not so popular Hotmail.com, and from our own experience we can tell you that Microsoft did a very good thing, as it’s interface being well designed and very intuitive.
The better part is that Outlook.com can be accessed from any Apple device without any problems. You can do it in two ways and we’re going to show you how.
How to access Outlook.com from iPhone and iPad via Safari
This is the simplest method, classic, through which you can log in with your Outlook.com account directly on the official website, just like you do it from your laptop or PC.
1. Access outlook.com
2. type your email address and password
3. that’s it, you are logged in and you can start using your email.
Unfortunately, you are going to get an error in the Safari web browser indicating that you should update to the last version, which can’t be done so this is why you have to ignore it by pressing the “Continue” button.
How to access Outlook.com from iPhone and iPad Via Mail
Better than the method described below is to configure your Outlook.com account directly in the Mail application of iOS.
1. Open the “Settings” app and access Mail, Contacts and Calendars section.
4. Type your Outlook.com email address and password
5. Select what you want synced in the list below
That’s it, you are done! Your new email address will be added to the Mail application of iOS. Enjoy.
