Grand Theft Auto is coming out in its 5th part and it is a much awaited game given the success of the previous versions. Some great gamers out there are living in utter ignorance of the soon to be epic release. The massive success of the game has always been considered a direct consequence of its brilliant storylines. This part can be expected to be no different and will probably be better.
The storylines of this legendary game always have the right blend of emotion, comedy, bloody violence, and great graphics. The following is something of a wish list of storylines, die- hard fans of GTA may want to see in the upcoming part.
First on the list should be one of your generic but awesome hostage situations. The story goes like this: we see a poor man borrowing money and then being unable to pay it back. The loan sharks descend and kidnap his daughter and wife. Now he must get them back through organized crime. He infiltrates the organization and it is all just blood and guts from there on out.
There is going to be the typical happy ending and we as the gamers get to take a trip through organized crime, cults and the police. It is the ultimate disturbing adventure. We will also get to see a fair amount of internal conflict in the main character as he decides whether he is bad or good and this makes it a joy to play the game.
The second possible storyline goes like this: the main character goes all vigilante type and decides to fight crime at its most basic level till he finds out he was once brainwashed and has been part of a cult. We see how his faith is shattered and he must desperately seek out revenge from the cult in question to ever be whole again.
This storyline very much deals with the human element and that crime is committed to satisfy notions of revenge and also to do good.
Thirdly we have a story that starts off as the main character reaching Los Santos from Liberty City and being required to hunt out criminal gangs and wipe the slate clean. There is the same familiar infiltration methods being put to use and gamers are likely to really enjoy it.
An extension to this story could also be a kidnapped individual or a lost individual of particular importance to the main character. The gameplay will therefore be quite familiar and simple.
A fourth take on a popular storyline can be the introduction of the generic FBI agent who is sent by the FBI to do his job and deal with crime by getting as much information as possible and figuring out the layout of criminal organizations.
The gamer gets the feel of a movie like ‘The Departed’. The character also faces the crossroads of whether to be the villain or the hero.
Last but not least the storyline can consist of an afterlife with a deeply conflicted character who has done great but terrible things in his actual life. We see him living in the aftermath of those actions and trying to get revenge on a few other guilty parties.
