Earlier this year Sony revealed an exclusive title for its PlayStation 3 and Vita consoles. This new title was the PS All-Stars, which featured popular characters from different game universes based on the PlayStation titles. The game which sounds like an attempt to bring Super Smash Brothers to PlayStation is looking better than ever. Sony previously announced characters like Kratos, Sly cooper, Sweet Tooth and Fat Princess to become a part of the game. Since then the developer has been updating its Facebook page with polls that asks players which characters they want to see in the game.
Today Sony revealed brand new characters that will make their way to the PS All-Stars. The two new characters announced today are Nathan Drake for Uncharted and Big Daddy from the Bioshock series. More rumors have appeared on the internet suggesting that Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid series and Cole McGrath from InFamous series will also be playable characters in the game.
Sony’s E3 press conference is only hours away and we have already started hearing interesting news from the manufacturer. There are tons of rumors on the internet suggesting the announcements Sony will be making today. In other news it was reveled that product listings of new Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil games have appeared on Play-Asia, suggesting that Sony will likely announce one of these today.
Earlier this month it was also revealed that Sony will be launching a brand new video game streaming service with the help of OnLive or Gaikai. Details of the streaming service is still scarce but we have heard from a close source that Sony plans to bring the entire catalogue of PSOne and PS2 titles on the streaming service. It isn’t clear yet if the publisher will charge a monthly subscription fee for the streaming service.
