Metal Gear Solid series isn’t short on great characters. We have Solid Snake and Raiden to thank for some of the best characters in the gaming industry, but apart from these two popular protagonists of the game, there are plenty of ladies in the series that we have fallen in love with. Here is a short list of Metal Gear Solid series hotties.
Rose aka Rosemary who appears in Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4 definitely deserves to be on the list. She may be a little annoying in MGS2 but we can’t deny that she is one awesome looking gal. Hideo Kojima revealed that Rose is a character partially based on his wife when they were still married. The questions she asks Raiden during Big Shell event are directly pointing towards Kojima’s wife who also asked him constantly about when they would get married.
Fortune is another sexy woman in the Metal Gear Solid series that cannot be ignored. Created by Hideo Kojima himself, the character appears in MGS 2 and occupies the position of a lead member of Navy SEALs unit Dead Cell. Her real name is Helena Dolph Jackson. Fortune was originally intended to be saxophone player during the cutscenes of the game, but ended up being a powerful foe for our hero.
Mei Ling is another female character that no MGS fan can ever look past. She first appeared in Metal Gear Solid 1 and then reappeared in part 2 and 4. According to the creators of the video game, Mei Ling was originally designed as a lookalike of the popular Japanese actress Shinobu Nakayama.
Another member of Solid Snake’s support team is the elegant Dr. Naomi. She makes her appearances in Metal Gear Solid 1 and 4. Naomi is a great character due to the double roles she plays in the game. She turns against the team when her real purpose comes into picture.
The final one on our list is without any doubt the most popular female character of the MGS series, Sniper Wolf. One of the renegade members of FOXHOUND, sniper wolf appeared in Metal Gear Solid and gave Solid Snake a lot of hard time in a battle against her. It was revealed that Sniper Wolf was originally intended to be a male character, but during the production of the game, Hideo Kojima liked the idea of Yoji Shinkawa to turn the character into a young and sexy woman.
