Earlier last week, 343 studios and Microsoft demonstrated the latest build of Halo 4 during the E3 press conference. The gameplay footage gave us an idea of what to expect. We saw master chief in a dense forest on a new planet with both familiar and non familiar enemy types. The demonstration also gave us a taste of what weapons can we expect to appear in the latest game.

Apart from the demo and some additional details, no announcements regarding the public beta of the game were made. One week later, the developers have sent out a hint that reveals there may be a demo coming to Xbox Live. The original deal was to bring the demo to Xbox Live but the latest update of the service on iOS and Android revealed that this is no longer going to happen.

Following the new deal, the fans and the community of the game have based the studios for not releasing a demo of the game. In a direct question answered by the studios, it was revealed that Frank O’Conner has given an indirect indication that the demo is a possibility. In his answer, he does not deny the availability of the demo; he just says that a demonstration is something that can be considered. Rumors over the internet also suggest that the demo is already being created which is being kept secret from the fans.

If a demo does appear on Xbox Live, it will become the first ever chance players can get their hands on Halo 4. The demo should be enough to give an idea to the players on what to expect. Since this is the first game in the series out of Bungie’s hands, the fans are quite concerned about the gameplay.

If you look at the past, Bungie had made the demo for Halo: Reach available several weeks after the game was released. This allowed fans to take direct control of the game and experience the new type of gameplay the game had offered. With a new studio behind the wheel, fans are now concerned before buying the game and have every right to try it out.
