The lightest ultrabook in the world, Gigabyte x11 will be released in Taipei today. But prior to its release, some pictures of the ultrabook have leaked on the internet.

Despite the fact that the pictures of the ultrabook have leaked on the internet, there are no details about the specifications of the ultrabook. We will only know what the ultrabook has to offer in terms of specifications once it is officially launched today.

From what we can make out of the leak pictures, the ultrabook will have an 11.6 inch display screen and very few connection ports.

The leaked pictures of the Gigabyte x11 shows one USB port and a mini DisplayPort and of course a power connector. So far now, Gigabyte has managed to keep its creation, x11 under the radar but just prior to its release, the ultrabook’s pictures leaked on the internet.

However, Gigabyte had previously hinted one thing about the ultrabook, saying that the device has taken over the 6th element. We don’t know what that might be but sources suggest it might be referring to the fact that the ultrabook uses carbon fiber.

The pictures of the Gigabyte x11 were leaked by Pocket-lint, which has said that the ultrabook also has a headset jack and a microSD card slot. According to Pocket-lint, the lightest ultrabook also seems to be carrying an Intel Ivy Bridge processor.

The little details about the specifications that have been revealed so far by unofficial sources make the ultrabook an all rounder; it has decent specs, it is very portable and is the lightest ultrabook ever. However, other details about the specifications of the ultrabook aren’t known and we will know for sure when the Gigabyte x11 is officially launched in Taipei today. We’ll update you as soon as we hear more about the Gigabyte’s world’s lightest ultrabook.
