Octopus Keyboard is a tweak which is going to be released very soon in Cydia and it’s main feature is to allow you to easily type sentences using the iOS keyboard.
The tweak is inspired by the Blackberry 10 keyboard and, as we type, the keyboard makes word suggestions that we can use in our sentences.
The words are displayed above the letters of the keyboard and a simple swipe in the up direction can introduce the word in the sentence.
Octopus Keyboard also includes a dictionary that is constantly learning what you write in order to improve suggestions for words that are going to be suggested and the most interesting part is that the tweak should work with more languages supported by iOS operating system from Apple.
For the moment Octopus Keyboard is only in Beta, but we are going to let you know when the tweak will be released in Cydia so you can download and install it if you’re interested.
A preview of Octopus Keyboard is available in the video below.
The Octopus Keyboard was developed by Mario Hros.
Basically, Mario Hros borrowed the word “auto prediction” system, which makes them “float” above the letters of the keyboard.
Instead of gathering a series of words the software “learns” above the keys, these words will float on the screen of the iPhone and this improves the user experience a lot.
Accessible with a simple swipe, these words will allow you to type faster than ever before on your iPhone.
