Nokia Lumia 900, the Nokia flagship smartphone, already released in the United States, seems to lack the same worm welcome as it received in the United States.
Mobile operators in Europe are saying that the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone does not have chances to compete with Android smartphones or with the iPhone from Apple.
In other words, mobile operators are saying that the Lumia 900 smartphone will record weak sales.
This opinion was made after conducting a poll, and the main obstacle in the way of marketing success for the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone in Europe is the phone’s “exaggerated price”.
Another obstacle is the Windows Phone operating system, which lacks any “real innovation”, according to mobile operators.
The biggest mobile operators in Europe also said that if Nokia Lumia 900 would have come with Android operating system instead of Windows Phone then it might record higher sales, while others said that very few buyers entered stores asking about Windows Phone smartphones.
Nokia Cuts the Lumia 900 Price
Nokia cut the price of the Lumia 900 smartphone by almost 50% and, on the United States market, the phone is now available at a price of $49,99.
Nokia LUmia 900, which runs on the Windows Phone mobile operating system developed by Microsoft can be purchased for $49,99 along with a two years AT&T subscription.
Nokia Lumia 900 was released on the United States market more than four months ago and it was initially available at a price of $99,99. The Finnish company said that Lumia 900 is the key element in reviving the company on the constantly growing mobile phones market.
Nokia Lumia 900 is one of the best sold phones on Amazon.com. However, a software problem shadowed the success of the Lumia 900 phone and Microsoft announced the fact that those who purchased the Lumia 900 phone can’t upgrade to Windows Phone 8, the next version of the mobile operating system that will arrive later this year.
