Even though Apple launched the new iPad in March, the advertisements of the new product were not really seen in the country.

Many billboards, print ads, bus stations and other areas of advertisement showed the iPad 2 even after the new iPad has launched but if you are a keen observer and notice advertisements in particular, you’ll notice that the iPad 2 has at last been replaced by the new iPad.

Even if some areas had advertised the new iPad, people didn’t notice the advertisements much anyway. The new advertisements concentrate a lot more on the new Retina display found in the new iPad and its powerful display.

Apple is really confident about its new iPad’s Retina display and the advertisements clearly show that. There is also a simple and small tag line that comes along with the new iPad’s advertisements.

Another thing that you’ll notice in the new advertisements is that the OS has also taken a step backwards.

Previously, the advertisements for iPad 2 showed pictures of the tablet’s home screen in plain, simple view or the home screen was shown through a side glance, pretty much everywhere a person turned his head towards.

However, since there aren’t many changes in the iPad 2 and the new iPad, well on exterior and in pictures in particular, many Americans, by looking at the advertisements, are thinking that the iPad 2 is the new iPad. While some think that, others think that the new advertisements are showing the iPad 2 only. There seems to be a lot of confusion between people about the new iPad and its predecessor, the iPad 2.

The new iPad is called the “iPad” only, no numerical attached to it, which also adds to the confusion. If it were called the iPad 3, it would have just been very simple to differentiate it from its predecessor.
