The people over at GEVEY announced yesterday that they will be able to unlock the 04.11.08 baseband of the iPhone 4 smartphone with the help of the GEVEY Ultra Sim card and today, Applenberry officially announced the release of the Gevey Ultra SIM card for iPhone 4 that unlocks the 04.12.01 baseband on iOS.
The new Gevey sim cards will unlock any existent baseband of the iPhone 4 smartphone so don’t worry about incompatibility problems however in the future you will have to keep the baseband intact otherwise the solution will be completely useless.
Although GEVEY Ultra unlocks any iPhone 4 with any baseband, the SAM unlock solution unlocks any iPhone, regardless of the baseband and any iOS version however this solution works only with a single card. GEVEY has the advantage of offering unlock for any card so from our point of view it is superior.
Gevey Ultra pre-orders can be placed now. The price is $50 and the cards will be shipped starting with April 27.
