February 5, 2012 by: 0

Ryan Gosling is one of the hottest stars in Hollywood right now and Time Warner Cable wants to cash in on that popularity. TWC has just announced that they will offer an entire On Demand Channel dedicated to Gosling for almost entire month of February. The special channel runs through February 27.

If viewers have access to TWC in one of the 29 states they operate in, then they can watch just as much of Gosling as they can handle. For 27 days, Gosling’s films such as “Crazy Stupid Love,” “The Ides of March,” and “The Notebook” will be available for viewing as many times as fans want to see them. In addition, Gosling’s latest movie, “Drive,” will also be available.

Gosling first gained popularity as a child actor on one of Disney’s iconic shows, “The Mickey Mouse Club.” He would star in other family type shows, including “Goosebumps,” “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” and “Young Hercules.” He would play his first serious role in “The Believer” in 2001. The Canadian actor would be nominated for an Academy Award for his role in “Lars and the Real Girl.’ He was also nominated for a Golden Globe for the same role. There would be two more Golden Globe nominations for “The Ides of March” in 2012.

Gosling is also an accomplished musician. His band, Dead Man’s Bones, has an album out and they toured throughout North America back in 2009. Gosling is an avid supporter of the Enough Project and PETA. He has traveled extensively throughout Africa to raise awareness of the ongoing conflicts in Uganda, Congo, and Chad.

Gosling has been romantically linked to such actresses as Rachel McAdams and Sandra Bullock. He now resides in New York City. Gosling is currently in Thailand filming “Only God Forgives” and has had to learn Muay Thai boxing for his role in the movie.
