Tiger Woods Talks about Techniques and his Career

February 11, 2012 by: 0

There is a whole lot of stuff about how Tiger Woods needs to go low in order to stay close. This is part of the discussion surrounding his technical prowess and development as a player. Recently he has been involved in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am event. We can then look at the game and the ways in which the golfing superstar needs to improve in order to get back to the very top of the leader board. It must be said that there are some people who are absolutely convinced that he will never hold the heights that were once his to play with.

The evolution of Tiger Woods

His marital and racial problems have haunted the player for some time. We were told of a calculated image of deceit and hypocrisy. According to Bob Harig the player needs to concentrate on his distance control. This is particularly obvious when he is dealing with wedges. The first round was not as impressive as it should have been because this problem had not been resolved with sufficient vigor. Ron Kroichick of the San Francisco Chronicle says that the legend has to make some putts. In fact it was obvious that he was not converting middle range birdie attempts.

Setting the putting aside, mental control is one of the things that Tiger Woods will need to work on. The devastation in his personal life seems to have changed his outlook and made him doubt his ability to compete with the very best. Sarah Turcotte of ESPN is of the view that the player will have to get used to both the rough and smooth courses. She also pointed out the fact that his sharpness is not quite as good as it used to be. It is not entirely clear whether the player will take their advice.
