Photographers may agree when I say Olympus knows what really is going in their minds and what they really want. To support this claim, I am going to introduce you to the new Olympus OM-D E-M5. The new camera is retro on the outside but at the inside, it has a lot to offer. The camera has a classic styled OM analog which one saw back in the 1970s but at the same time, it is fully digitally revamped.
You will find the Olympus OM-D E-M5 with a 16.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor, along with 120 frames per second, high resolution electronic viewfinder, as well as a 3 inches posable OLED touchscreen. The camera also has a fast autofocus system from the previous PEN E-P3 that has been transmitted in this camera. The camera also supports 9fps burst shooting but that is possible in Single AF mode only. Moreover, you can also get help from the 3D autofocus tracking that will allow you to get a fixated look on the subjects as they move in the upwards and downwards direction in the frame but also closer and further from the camera lens.
In the Olympus OM-D E-M5, you will also come across Full High Definition 1080i video capturing, strengthened by ISO support till 25,600. The body of the camera is weather proofed and it is ruggedized against low temperatures and water. The company has also given the camera the first 5 axis picture stabilization system, the world’s very first, which not only promises to smooth out the vertical and horizontal shift but also pitch, rotary motion, yaw and even if the photographer is running with the camera, the image will come out stabilized.
The camera has a lot more to offer than just that and the OM-D E-M5 is definitely a biggie and a treat for all photographers out there.
