SlideToMod: New Ways To Unlock An Apple Device And Personalize The Unlocking Process
by

SlideToMod is a new tweak recently released in Cydia that brings new ways to unlock an Apple Device. But let’s talk about the personalization options of the unlocking slider, options that allow us to modify the “slide to unlock” text, add the time and the date in the slider or not to display any bits of text.

Now let’s move on to more important things because the second part of the SlideToMod menu from the Settings application allows us to: disable the Camera button from the LockScreen, disable the control options for the iPod, disable the SlideShow button on the iPad and to modify the way we unlock an Apple device.

Activating the Hide Unlockbar feature you will hide the slider for unlocking a device and you will be able to set a gesture in the Activator plugin with the help of which you can unlock the device.

The gesture will only be known to you or it can be a double press on the screen or a swype or a double press of a physical button.

Before disabling the unlock bar  you have to set a gesture from the settings menu of the Activator otherwise you won’t be able to unlock your Apple device and  you will have to restore a backup.

SlideToMod is available for free in the ModMyi repo of Cydia and we recommend you give it a try because it can be of great help to you.
