Sapphire announces a new Mini PC version based on a APU AMD, with a low energy consume.
Edge HD-3 integrates a AMD E450 Zacate at 1.65 GHZ processor and takes pride with a 30 W energy consume. The dimensions are also pretty great, as a A5 format notebook being bigger.
The manufacturer promotes this “Toy” as being powerful enough to be used as a business computer, home theater or for casual gaming.
The computer ships with 4 GB DDR3, a 320 GB HDD as well as Wireless, LAN, Gigabit, HDMI, two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.
The graphic chip is a Radeon HD 6320 with a CPU speed of 600 Mhz.
There is no official price for this system however we expect a price in the 500 dollars area, just like the previous model that came with an Intel Atom processor.
The system will come with Microsoft Windows 7 preinstalled. And, of course, all it’s components are notebook components.
