LG has added two new Optimus series handsets, the Optimus Sol E730 and Optimus Hub E510. Both the handsets are powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
The Optimus Sol E730 features 3.8 inch, 800 x 480 pixel Ultra Amoled display. In a press release LG explained, “The new Ultra Amoled display has a two-fold advanced reflection rate compared to standard Amoled displays, which gives it better clarity outdoors and lower image quality degradation.”
The handset also reduces the degradation of image quality to offer better viewing experience even in sunny and bright conditions. Compared to traditional Amoled, the device delivers 2x better clarity with wider viewing angle thereby offering best screen visibility even under the bright sunlight.
Optimus Sol only measures 9.8 mm and powered by 1Ghz processor. The device also features WiFi, DLNA, HSDPA, GPS an autofocus camera with 5 megapixel and utilizes an enhanced idle-based power management system which according to LG increases the battery life by 20% to 30%.
The other handset LG optimus Hub features 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. The Optimus 2.0 UI integrated in this Android powered device allows to access mails and messages with just one tap. It is powered by 800 MHz ARMv6 processor and 512 MB RAM and features Adreno 200 GPU for better gaming experience.
