Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl are Seen Kissing on Set
Some people never imagined that this would every happen. Gossip Girl is the perfect response to the suspense junkies. The stories are designed to titillate and the action is annoyingly obscure. In any case we had a bit of action between Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley on set. Blair Waldorf is old beyond his years in the show and is always portrayed as the incurable villain who loves power and manipulation. Dan Humphrey is not particularly his type but they struck up a friendship in season 4 of the show. Meanwhile she continues to profess her undying love for Chuck Bass played by Ed Westwick.
A complicated love life in Gossip Girl
As if the action was not complicated enough, Dan is engaged to Prince Louis of Monaco, a major role for Hugo Becker. The group was seen shooting some scenes in New York City. Meester looked ethereal in a pink gown which is surely in contention for the best dress of the year. She then engaged in passionate kiss with Humphrey. This is the 100th episode of Gossip Girl and perhaps they are marking it with some dramatic storylines to keep the public even more interested than before. Dan had provided a getaway car for Blair during a disastrous wedding to Louis. This followed the discovery of a Chuck liaison.
One of the great things about Gossip Girl is the fact that the audience is almost always invited to provide their perspective on the storylines that are proposed. Therefore you always feel as if you are part of the action even where the editors are changing the direction of the original script. We look forward to more trouble between Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley. It would certainly help the ratings. We also love the suspicion that there are many dynamics to the relationships amongst the stars when they are off the set.
