iPhone Manually Manufactured In 141 Steps; iPad Tablet Assembled in 5 Days

In the iFactory documentary aired by ABC News we have seen a few very interesting information about the way Apple devices are manufactured in the Foxconn factory.
The iPhone smartphone is built in a day however according to ABC you need 141 steps to assemble a terminal and the process is done by hand by the company’s employees.
In the case of the iPad tablet we are talking about a manufacturing process that requires five days, so this manufacturing process is more complicated than the iPhone one.
Foxconn manufacturers 300,000 camera modules for the iPad tablet and Foxconn employees make approximately 1.78 dollars for each of the 12 hours they spend working each day. They pay $0.7 dollars per meal and $18 dollars to sleep in a room inside the Foxconn campus dorms.
What is interesting is that the audit conduced by Fair Labor Association is paid by apple who also paid a $250,000 feet o join the organization so it’s possible not to find out many details about the lives of the Foxconn employees, the people who manufacture the gadgets we enjoy every day.
