No matter how careful you are with your newly purchased gadget, sooner or later it will suffer because of you. This is how most smartphones malfunctions are due to falls, water contact, excessive pressure, prolonged exposure to sun or because of other similar reasons.
Manufacturers are perfectly aware of this aspect and they bet on the importance of the subject to develop real marketing campaigns to present the production and testing process of their devices.
We have seen how both HTC and Nokia are “torturing” their smartphones, and now the time has come for Research In Motion ( RIM ) to “torture” the Blackberry smartphones, hoping that this way they will manage to power up sales.

This initiative is appreciated, but we are expecting some innovation and real competition with Android or iOS because otherwise Blackberry smartphones will continue to be used for office stunts.
