Google Extends Flight Search Tool to Mobile

Google has expanded its flight search tools to the mobile devices, thereby making it easier for the users to search for flight information as well as pricing while they are on move, announced Google on Tuesday.

Users can now access Flight Search which is available at google.com/flight through their web browsers on their iOS as well as Android devices and find the similar features available in desktop version of this tool, wrote Gus Prevas, a Google software engineer wrote in blog post.

With this new mobile version, users can easily search for the available flights that are departing from US, view ticket prices for several destinations by surfing map and filter results according to price, airline or duration of flight. The tool will also aid users to discover the best time to go on their destination by displaying that which dates have cheapest flights.

Prevas wrote in the blog post, “Planning trips is fun and exciting, and ideas for where to go on your next adventure can strike you when you’re in the most unexpected location.”

Users can now search for flights “from X to Y” on their Android or iOS device and view a table right under the ad that display the flights available along with their duration and price.
