The iFixit Dual Hard Drive Kit for Mac Mini is an amazing way to increase the storage of your iDevice. When Apple first launched its Mac Mini seven years ago, it became hugely popular due to its small size and big performance. The new Mac Mini, which runs on Intel processors now, also gives you the option of upgrading your RAM. This option was not available to the Mac Mini when it was not running on the Intel processor. I got my hands on this interesting little kit that lets you install extra storage to your Mac Mini.
The iFixit Dual Hard Drive Kit comes handy if you own the newest Unibody edition of the Mac Mini. When this version was released, Apple completely got rid of the optical drive option from the machine, leaving users with a big empty space inside to install a new hard drive. But to install a new drive, you need some knowledge of computers, and this hard drive kit is exceptional at giving you the right tools for the job. The mounting screws and extra SATA cable are all provided to you with the kit so you can easily open up your mini and install an extra hard drive.
The iFixit Dual Hard Drive Kit includes all the necessary tools you will require to upgrade your storage. We mostly have a tool box at home but it’s not quite common for any tool box to offer you especially created tools for opening and installing a hard drive on the Mac Mini. For the installation, you will require a little knowledge, but the manual with the kit will help you a lot on the way. If you have been playing with your PC a lot, this job will not be tough for you.
The iFixit Dual Hard Drive Kit will help you open up your Mac Mini without any issues, we recommend that you do not experiment with your mini if you are not sure about how to play with gadgets. But if you have opened something else in your life, with this kit, you can easily open and assemble a Mac Mini and enjoy extra storage space.
