The HP Photosmart 6510 is designed to be used by home users and students. It comes in a pretty sleek design that includes a touchscreen interface. The multifunctional printer from HP has everything a common student or home user requires, especially decent outputs. The very first impression of the printer will leave you satisfied. Unlike its competitors, the printer looks quite decent from the outside, but that’s not all, because through the testing phase of the review, I found out that it often out performs most of the competition too.
The all in one HP Photosmart 6510 is pretty nice to look at because of its 3.45 inches touchscreen. There are plenty of printers that offer the same level of performance at the same price, but only few incorporate a full touchscreen interface. The screen is big enough to understand and read all the controls and texts easily. However, for those who are looking for extra connectivity options, the printer only offers a SD card slot. There are absolutely no USB ports available, which has become quite a common feature for most home use printers.
Thanks to the bundled software with the HP Photosmart 6510, installing and managing your printer is quite easy. You will easily be able to produce many copies of documents and even scan them through the software. Features of remotely printing and scanning your documents are also available. You can also use your Android or iPhone to command printing through the Wi-Fi connectivity.
The HP Photosmart 6510 is also exceptional when it comes to paper handling, especially if you use it for home use. You can easily put in about 80 sheets in the main tray which also has a 20 sheet capacity for photo papers. For the output tray, the printer can hold up to 50 papers. Anyone buying the printer should keep in mind the price of printer ink. Unfortunately, the ink price of this printer is not anything that stands apart from other printers. However, due to its good output quality and exceptional features, we forgive the average ink prices.
