Many would consider Courtney Robertson to be playing the game too hard. After getting rid of the competition, she is busy attempting to ensure that she captures the attention of the person that is the prize for the entire reality show. By all account it appears that the strategy worked and the gentleman is simply smitten by his new companion. The words that were used were previously owned by Sarah Jessica Parker in a role that continues to define her place in the celebrity stakes.
Finding romance on a reality show
Sometimes you get the feeling that the organizers of The Bachelor are secretly enjoying the desperation with which Courtney Robertson is pursuing her mission. The 29 year old Flajnik is not particularly emotionally intelligent and will not realize that he is being manipulated even as the women appear to make him something of a god. Courtney has already taken him to meet her parents in Arizona. This was the famous hometown date which is a fixture in the show. Courtney is just a year younger than him but is already an expert at manipulation.
She set up a mock wedding ceremony with the cooperation of a local park authority. The bachelor was effectively coaxed into writing his vows. Although she said that she loved him, it was quite clear that Courtney Robertson was playing up for the camera. She has to thank Michael Patrick for that particular quotation which made her far more sincere than the evidence would suggest. To say that this show is a farce would be the understatement of the year. There is absolutely nothing real about this relationship as far as we can see.
