The fact that Samsung started to use OLED screens more and more is not a surprise to anybody. We have seen how implementing new technologies like Super AMOLED or Super AMOLED Plus, Samsung won fans and clients all over the world.
In other words, the partnership between Samsung and the manufacturer of the famous Gorilla Glass comes as a confirmation of the development plans announced by Samsung.Basically, the two companies will unite their forces to create a new type of resistant glass under the codename Lotus.
According to some sources, it will have to resist higher manufacturing temperatures without it’s structure being affected, and it will be used to manufacture OLED Displays.
Regardless if we talk about the few inch mobile phones screens or the impressive sizes of the future OLED TVs, they will all have the Lotus glass in common.
