One of the most compelling reality television series on show at the moment is the ‘Bachelor‘. In the latest installment we have the spectacle of Ben Flajnik attempting to take on a tribal stance. There are 9 women who are vying for his attentions, a situation which many men would die for. The group has gone off to Panama City for yet another pointless expedition. Three dates are arranged so that he can make up his mind on who he wants to keep on the show. Meanwhile Courtney is doing everything to ensure that she is the center of attention.
The women who are desperate for a man
When you look at the trials and tribulations of the ‘Bachelor‘, you realize that there is more to life than dating. Obviously the girls are not too keen but would rather get in front of the cameras. Presumably they have been told by their minders that a contract beckons if they can capture the attention of the public that is being manipulated. Courtney is particularly desperate in her attempts to capture the attentions of the gentleman. One wonders whether this is not going to be held against her.
One of the formulas that make the ‘Bachelor‘ a success is the possibility of showing off beautiful and naked bodies. Therefore some of the contestants take the time to ensure that their “assets” are given the best viewing out there. Sadly for the desperados it seems that Kacie B is the cat that got the cream. Ben is hedging his bets by saying that he hopes that they do not run out of conversation before the date is over. This is the face of modern chivalry. A furious Courtney confesses that she finds her love rival boring and would like to see her sent home.
