Aliens: Colonial Marines is currently being developed by Gearbox Software, the same games developer who worked on games like Brothers in Arms, Borderlands or Duke Nukem Forever.
Colonial Marines is created in partnership with SEGA, a company that owns the rights of the Aliens franchise.
Aliens: Colonial Marines game was announced a few years ago, promising of being a co-op shooter in the Left 4 Dead style, in which instead of zombies we are going to fight blood thirsty xenomorphs. The game was sidelined however with the success of the Borderlands game and the purchase of the Duke Nukem license by Gearbox Software.
But, in 2011, Aliens: Colonial Marines returned as a more classical shooter.
After the first gameplay trailer released in the fall of last year, the game was promised for the spring of this year and it was recently delayed until the fall of 2012. This delay was accompanied by a trailer, without gameplay examples. However this problem was fixed with the release of the newest Aliens: Colonial Marines gameplay trailer, which you can watch below.
Aliens: Colonial Marines will be released in the fall of this year for PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii U.
