How To Automatically Activate GEVEY SIM On iOS 5.0.1 With FuriousMod 2.0

Applenberry released the FuriousMod 2.0 tweak in Cydia, which allows us to automatically activate GEVEY Ultra SIMs on iOS 5.0.1 too, which was only possible until now on iOS 4.x

This is a very good news for those who own a iPhone 4 and use the GEVEY Ultra SIM for unlocking their phones because now the tweak that allows the automatic activation of the device after every restart, without following all the usual steps. FuriousMod 2.0 was released in Cydia and can be installed by all users who are using the iOS 5.0.1 OS on their Apple devices.

Alright, now this is what you have to do to be able to benefit from an automatic unlock generated by the FuriousMod 2.0 tweak:

Step 1 – what you need:

- iPhone 4

- GEVEY Ultra SIM

- iOS 5.0.1 & Jailbroken

- 4.10 maxim baseband

Step 2

Once you have the jailbreak installed you have to access Cydia and add the http://cydia.furiousmod.com source.

Step 3

After the source has been added, return to Cydia, and visit the list of sources

Step 4

Select the source you just added and install the tweak available there

Step 5

After the respring you are going to do, simply turn off your iPhone

Step 6

Now insert the GEVEY SIM in your phone

Step 7

Now start the terminal and wait approximately 5 minutes for the automatic activation to complete and you will see the network name on your display.

If this is not successful, turn off the iPhone and repeat the 7 step.
