Tokyo’s infamous shopping district, Ikebukuro, saw about 300 or more enthusiasts lined up outside a major electronics store to get their hands on the PSP Vita. Many of these people have already placed pre orders for the console so that they can immediately start enjoying the console as soon as they get their hands on it. The pre orders of the console started few months ago on the internet.
The PSP Vita promises to bring a lot of change in the portable console market. It has full touch interface and the popular motion sensing controls already installed on the device. The PSP Vita is set to take over the market from its predecessor, the PlayStation Portable. The console also features GPS technology and allows users to connect via 3G and Wi-Fi. A television ad produced by the company showed gamers opening their new consoles and playing outside the shops.
