Possibility Of Kindle Fire 2

The new Kindle Fire tablet by Amazon sold millions and millions of copies this holiday season. Not only the Kindle Fire tablet was in demand by the customers but rather the Kindle Touch’s demand was also in full swing. Due to its big success, many analysts may now be wondering if other new Android powered tablets will have the flavor of Amazon’s secret and possessed sauce.

In 2011, dozens of android tablets were released by several manufacturers but none of these tablets were able to shake the success of Apple’s iPad. However, after Amazon released its Kindle Fire tablet, which is a loss generating tablet, some started doubting iPad’s dominance in the market in the long run. Kindle Fire is quite simple to use and there is a lot of content for you to get from the cloud service of Amazon.

Amazon’s cost of production of the tablet is more than what is it being sold for at $199 but the company hasn’t scrapped its production as its primary goal since the launch of the tablet was to make money through content. Many powerful tablets have been introduced but all came with a hefty price tag which made people opt for the iPad instead but with the Kindle Fire, things are a little different.

The weeks till holiday season proved to be extremely favorable for the Kindle Fire tablet as million of sales were recorded of the tablet, along with Kindle Touch. This has now led for analysts to wonder whether another tablet with the android operating system will be launched by Amazon in 2012. In straighter terms, the possibility of a Kindle Fire 2 tablet has now increased because of the unprecedented success of its predecessor, the Kindle Fire. However, it is still uncertain because we don’t know whether Amazon will be willing to take on another loss making tablet, aiming to make revenue through content sale.
