Crasher is a multiplayer arena based game that pits you against other players for competitive gameplay. You control a vehicle with weaponry and fight against other players. The core gameplay is fun and is mostly played through the game’s major two game modes. The first one is a simple death match tasking you to kill every other player on the map. The second mode works like a kind of the hill mode that requires you to be on certain map spot without any opponents to win. There are many interesting stuff added to make the game play a little different from other arena games, and I will try to outline those in this review.
Crasher is a great game when it comes to map depth. Each and every map is huge and offers a lot of options for players to decide their tactics. One such feature of the map is dynamic landscape changes. Throughout your match, the map will keep changing the terrain to encourage new and different tactics. You will also be able to collect many PowerUps scattered throughout the map.
The dynamically changing landscape that I talked earlier in the review is what really makes a match interesting. There are maps that are changing throughout the match, giving players the opportunity to device new tactics. For example, the Eruption map, puts players in an environment with a lava pouring out from the middle, while a platform from above lowers down. When a minute or so passes, the platform completely reaches to the players reach and each every player is forced to get on the platform before the lower region is filled by lava completely.
Crasher does things pretty good, however the only major problem with the game is that no one is playing it. Being a multiplayer arena game means you need a lot of players to fix a match with, unfortunately, as of now, Crasher hardly has any players online. You are left with only few players ever so playing online. The major reason why most people are not playing the game is because it happens to have a lot of bugs. Sometimes your car just won’t move or enemy player cars just disappear.
With so many bugs and no online community, the game becomes really hard to recommend. Until and unless the developers fix the bugs, this game will remain on my list of do not play games.
