Google is the only stable company that could have launched a social network as powerful as Facebook. The social network by Google was launched on the 28th of June and since then we have seen fair amount of success through it. The user base of the Social Network has already reached 30 million plus in just two months. To understand the success, we should know that it took over two years for both Twitter and Facebook to reach that sort of number.
Google+ introduces some unique new features that are not available in other Social Networks, things like hang outs and circles. These new features have allowed some change in the already dense Social Network platforms available and caused uproar in people, resulting in a huge rise of users for Google+. Google is all set to release a brand new feature on the Social Network that will rival Facebook’s pages feature. Google has named this feature ‘Business Profiles’, which will allow people to make profiles regarding their businesses.
Google’s product manager for Google+ , Christian Oestlien, confirmed that the beta of business profiles at the social network received massive positive feedback. About ten thousand different businesses took part in the test program of Google+ business profiles. After the feedback, Google is now working harder and faster to bring the new feature to public.
Every analyst has already agreed that Google has a huge advantage when it comes to Social Networking that support business profiles. Google has a head start through its test program which has been a massive success. They have been able to extract immense feedback from the ten thousand businesses that took part in the beta testing. Google now knows exactly what kind of features these businesses demand on a social network. On top of that, Google can already conduct research on its rivals, making sure to fill out any loopholes these other social networking sites have in them. With enough data from the businesses and other social network sites, Google is set to launch which may become the biggest business feature on any social network.
