Samsung, a company from Korea, has won against the Cupertino based company, Apple, in Australia. The win means that Samsung has got the right to sell its known tablet, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the country. Previously, Samsung’s tablet was stopped from selling in Australia because a preliminary injunction was ruled in favor of Apple.

The report revealed by Sydney Morning Herald suggests that the entire bench sitting at the Federal Court, which includes David Yates, John Dowsett and Lindsay Foster, all had a unanimous vote for Samsung, reversing the decision made earlier in favor of Apple that revoked Samsung’s rights to sell its tablet in the country.

The ruling, as reported by Sydney Morning Herald, said that the Korean company will be allowed to launch its Galaxy Tab in Australia, given that it is keeping account of the entire transactions that involve the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia.

The Cupertino based company however has some days in which it can enjoy as Samsung will not be permitted to put its tablets for selling purposes till the week end. In September, Apple acquired a win against Samsung and its Galaxy Tab 10.1 product. Then too, Samsung had made a promise to fight back. Some people previously suggested that Samsung might wait till the next year to come back with counter arguments, which would have however, made it lose out on the big holiday season. As Christmas is coming up, everybody wants to get his or hands on electronics and all sorts of other things. Fighting the arguments next year would’ve meant no sales for Samsung in the big sale season which would have proved to be a big blow for the Korean company. For us, Apple’s insecurity is a bit too baseless.  None of the companies, however, commented on the ruling.
