Dancing fanatics should stand up and party, Dance Central is back with a blast, bringing everything unique and awesome about the previous game to this sequel. Dance Central 2 continues the foundations its predecessor made, and brings back the same complete body dance experience to your living room. If that doesn’t sound good, Dance Central 2 also brings back the original tracks from part 1 and adds a new modes and new routines for you to follow. To find out more, read our review.
To start my review, I will talk about the design and features of the game.
Dance Central is a game designed for people who just love dancing, whether it’s a party or just you loving to dance, Dance Central 2 offers a lot. Dance Central 2 is also the living proof that Kinect is an amazing device that can offer great new experiences if used correctly. The campaign mode of the game puts you in the feet of a young dancer, destined to become great, your tale begins by challenging the top dancer one by one. As soon as you beat a dancer at a dance challenge, you gain some favor from them and move on.
Moving further down the review, Dance Central 2 also brings a survival mode in which you must defeat all the other dance crews to unlock slick new content including outfits and songs. Just like its predecessor, Dance Central 2 makes you follow a character on screen dancing to the beat. You must mimic the moves of the character properly to move on. There are plenty of que cards that float on the side of your screen, the purpose of which is to guide you throughout the dance.
To finish off my review, I would say that Dance Central 2 is an amazing sequel to a game that is already so loved by dance enthusiasts. Dance Central is a must have for people who just love to dance.
