If you are a fan of the Google official smartphones, smartphones created by Google in partnership with different companies, then you surely heard about the Nexus One created by Google and HTC.

Released in the spring of 2010, with the Android 2.1 OS, which can be upgraded to Android 2.3.6, Nexus One has the following hardware platform: ARM SnapDragon 1 FHZ processor and Adreno 200 GPU, with support for OpenGL ES 2.0. Although the configuration is decent for current standard, Google does not share our opinion.

In a recent press conference, a Google official announced that although Nexus S will receive a Android 4.0 upgrade in the near future, not the same can be said about the Google Nexus One smartphone.

We think it’s frustrating the fact that a iPhone 3GS user, a smartphone released in June 2009, can benefit from all the advantages and features the new iOS 5 operating system brings, while a Nexus One owner, a phone released just last spring, does not receive any operating system upgrade.

Are you a Nexus One owner ? What do you think about this decision made by Google ?
