In this review, I will talk about the Samsung Galaxy W, a smartphone running on the Android Operating System.
The Samsung Galaxy W is a mid range phone in the line of Galaxy smartphones. The phone boasts a very decent design which feels compact and slim in the hand. This is a very decent phone that offers the Android experience at a mid level price range. The design of the phone is made out of two different finishes; the top end is high glossy, while the rest of the body is matte finish. To find out more, read our review.
To start my review, I will talk about the design and features of the phone.
The Galaxy W is a phone that can be easily used using only one hand, it does not has a huge LCD, which enables easy use of the phone without the need of your other hand. All the control buttons on the Samsung Galaxy W are easily reachable and bulged out so you cannot miss them. Unlike the low end Galaxy smartphones, the mid ranged Galaxy W offers two cameras instead of one. It is nice to know that a mid range device offers two cameras whereas it is missing from most of its rivals.
Moving further down the review, the Samsung Galaxy W ships with a 3.7 inches capacitive touchscreen which supports the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, paired with 16M colors. The combination of colors and resolution at this screen size enables great viewing angels and a bright screen. The text is quite crisp and easily readable too. Deep inside its hood, the Samsung Galaxy W is being powered by a single core processor clocked at 1.4GHZ, paired with 512MB of RAM. On its rear, a 5 megapixels camera rests which can record videos at 720p resolution. On the front side, another camera sits at 0.3 megapixels; this can be used for video chatting.
To finish off my review, I would say that the Samsung Galaxy W is a great mid ranged phone; it offers almost all the features that you would find in a high end smartphone, with exception of only few features that are missing.
