In this review, I will discuss about Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga for the Xbox 360.
Divinity II: Ego Draconis was a game that was released in the early stages of 2010. The game was not quite recognized by many, mainly because it faced a lot of tough competition from Dragon Age, a game by much known Bioware and Electronic Arts. The developers of Divinity II immediately knew that they had to come up with something exciting to catch the attention of the gamers. And so the company has just released the latest expansion of the game, which is compiled in an attractive package that offers much more than just the expansion.
To kick start my review, I will discuss the features of this game.
The expansion that I am mainly going to talk about today is Flames of Vengeance. The game opens up and continues the story of Ego Draconis. If you have not played the original game before, you will be able to create a new character here, which will be starting at level 35. It is strongly recommended thought that you start the game from the beginning and finish the core game first. If you are playing this package, the game upon finishing, will jump to the new content without any delays or credit screens.
Moving further down the review, Flames of Vengeance will have you go through much of the same gameplay from the original game. In here you will face a lot of new dialogues for which you can make choices. Apart from the dialogues, you are presented with a single area to explore. And unfortunately the frustration that the first game had is back, and this time it’ll leave you even more frustrated.
To finish of my review, I would say that the Divine Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga is a good package for those who have not played the game before. You get all the games for a set price which is affordable. The game isn’t too bad; it just has some game mechanics that will leave you confused. So for anyone suffering from anger management issues, I would not recommend this title.
