Comes another day, comes another Gingerbread OS leak of the HTC Thunderbolt. HTC’s Thunderbolt pioneers the fourth-generation HTC LTE gadget on the LTE network of Verizon. It has a 4.3” touch-screen, a 1 Gigahertz Snapdragon CPU, and backside 8 mega-pixels camera (720p) and a Skype-enabled camera in the front (1.3 mega-pixels, VGA). It runs on the Android 2.2 operating system and also comes with the HTC Sense 2.0.
The previous leak pertained to the update of the Android 2.3 that we are and in some cases now were so impatiently waiting for but it had not yet released. But now a leak that is all-new, and about the sixteenth such leak of the ThunderBolt ROM has emerged. This build, the 2.07.605.0 was dubbed to although be “official”, as in not a malfunctioning, proto-typish test build but the real deal, is still not the build that is going to be the final one. But we’re just saying that because we know how it goes: nothing’s final until it is officially final.

If you are feeling exceptionally brave, the download file is available for download from the link of the source and you can of course install it yourself. Of course you can also be more prudent and safe about it and just wait for further details and feedback about the available file. It is pertinent to mention that if you are are on the root train, you will definitely prefer to wait so that until your favorite developer can acquire the files and come up with something wonderful. Trust us that will not be taking too long to happen… it really never does.
