BlackBerry manufacturers Research in Motion revealed their plan of launching the new versions of its BlackBerry series and to introduce two more advanced and updated models of BlackBerry Torch, which are based on the new BlackBerry 7 software.

According to a report, RIM had a big launch of its five new versions of smartphones earlier this week. The updated models of BlackBerry Torch were a part of that launch along with the new powerful release of BlackBerry Bold series.

The co-chief executive and President of RIM, Mike Lazaridis claimed in his statement that it has happened for the first in RIM’s history that the company will release five advanced series of its Smartphone at a time in a single global launch.

Adding more, he said that RIM has strong competitors in the market so this launch is important for the company to stay in the competition as new iPhones and devices from Apple and Android are capturing RIM’s market share.

As a result of fierce competition, RIM was facing the bend in its stock prices, but the new BlackBerry Torch and Bold series will definitely help RIM to hit back strongly in the market and to grab its share again.

RIM stated that the Company’s last phone was introduced a year before and now, the fresh release of new models of Torch will be more advanced.

The latest versions of touch screen BlackBerry Smartphones are operating on advance software of BlackBerry 7 OS and have the enhanced features including better display, Qualcomm 1.2 GHz processor. All devices are expected to be launch in August end.

The vice president of RIM, John Jackson said that the launch is very important for the company. RIM has put hard effort to bring a more advanced and better product for the users.

Company’s global sales head, Patrick Spence also commented and said that BlackBerry has a fixed share in the market and is famous as a top communication device. RIM has tried hard for its release of the new phones and have enhanced all version to fulfill users expectation.

However, the new Torch version is somehow similar to the original device with a QWERTY keyboard but it has upgraded version and software. The bold series will be updated with NFC chip through which the phone can be converted into a wallet mobile.
