In this review, I will talk about the Ericsson Xperia Mini from Sony, a smartphone based on the Android Platform.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini is a powerful phone hidden in a very little package. The very first glance on the phone will have you say that this phone may not be capable of offering stuff that phones like the Samsung Galaxy S II does. Well, the only thing it doesn’t offer is the size of the screen, other than that, the phone is as powerful as any high end phone. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini is strict about its design. The phone is compact and looks amazing; it’s a disguised monster in a beautiful shell. To find out more read our review.
To start off my review, I will talk about the specifications and features of this phone.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini may be small in size, but wait when you hear what is inside its shell. The phone is powered by a 1 GHZ Scorpion processor, a GPU based on Adreno 205, paired with 512 MB of Ram. Outside on the front, a 3 inches capacitive multi-touch input touchscreen awaits, which offers a resolution of 320 x 480 with 16M colors support. On the back of the phone is its powerful 5 megapixels camera, which is capable of recording video on 720p HD resolution. The camera also comes supported with auto focus and LED flash. Other features include the ability to increase storage capacity to 32 GB via microSD card, Adobe Flash 10.3, Li – ion 1200 mAH battery and accelerometer.
Moving further down the review, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini ships with Android 2.3, this makes sure that you won’t need to upgrade as soon as you pick up the phone. The interface is customized using Xepria’s standard UI. The phone can best be compared to the Xperia Arc or Neo, only different is that it is a mini version.
To finish off my review, if you are looking for a stylish little phone that offers power at the same time, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini is a great little buy.
