Google+ Emerges as Fastest Site to Gain 25 Million Unique Users

Google+, the social networking site of Google has gained 25 million unique users to emerge as the fastest site to reach this audience figure, according to data released by comScore in Tuesday.

Launched in late June, Google+ has 25 million unique visitors as of July 24 followed by nearly 1 million visitors per day said comScore in presentation. When compared to Facebook, it took nearly three years to gain 25 million visitors. On the other hand Twitter just took a little more than 30 months according to the data provided by comScore.

The data also showed that the latest attempt of search engine giant to break into social networking ground has a strong start. But that does not mean the project is long-term success.

MySpace had 25 million unique visitors within a time of two years- a figure faster than Twitter or Facebook. However, according to the comScore data the site lost lot of visitor in previous year. The data revealed that US had more than 6 million unique visitors and India more than 3.6 million. UK and Canada had nearly 1 million unique visitors everyday. Germany had 9,20,000 unique visitors followed by Brazil with just more than 7,80,000 visitors.
